From a 3D Scan to Every Golden Brick
model designer Christophe Vietti spent months studying the real trophy, cast from 18-karat gold and malachite. Since the actual cup is nearly impossible to access, FIFA provided an insanely detailed 3D scan — so heavy the file would crash a standard laptop.
